Properties: uses propane and n-butane as a sole carbon source (95); degrades dibutylphthalate and di-(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (95); resistant to lincomycin, methicillin, oxacillin, polymyxin, cephalexin and nalidixic acid when growing on propane and n-hexadecane (230, 246); transforms thioanisole (257); resistant to Pb²⁺ (10.0 mM), Cu²⁺ (5.0 mM). (Medium 5, 9 or 12, 28^oC).
